well late but safe grandma lavonna made it here last night about 145 in the am.  Tonight we had a high school senior session at the air force academy and took a couple shots in between clothing changes of grandma lavonna and her new grand baby!  time to eat!

Big Weekend of Weddings in Estes...and a Birthday!

We returned Monday afternoon from a great weekend away!  On Friday, we headed up to Ft. Collins and spent the evening with my Aunt Jane, Uncle Pete, and cousins Jeff, Brad, and Dan (though Dan was with friends overnight so we didn't get to see him).  We enjoyed a great dinner on their patio and relaxed that evening.  Natalie met her great uncle and 2nd cousins for the first time and enjoyed seeing her great aunt again!  With my 30th birthday this past Saturday, Aunt Jane had angel food cake with ice cream and strawberries to celebrate!

On Saturday, we headed up to Estes Park with Aunt Jane.  We had a wedding all day Saturday and then another in a different part of Estes on Sunday.  Aunt Jane took care of Natalie during those weddings...what a blessing and huge help!!  We enjoyed a great weekend in that beautiful place and got to do some photography inside Rocky Mountain National Park for the Saturday wedding.  We returned Monday and jumped right back into photography jobs and life in the Springs!  And I finally opened birthday cards and presents!

Craziness & Cuteness & Hockey...

The past week and a half of our lives has been CRAZY!  Not only were we doing a variety of sessions, taking care of daily business activities (Lindsay), working at Sprint (Jon), taking in more calories (Natalie & Lindsay), and attempting to maintain the cleanliness of our house & laundry (Lindsay), and lawn/landscaping (Jon)...but then we throw in photographing roller hockey championship games during a tournament that lasted 10 days.  Basically, the hockey games went from 6 am-1 am the next day every day, but we just came in for the 3rd place and championship games for each division.  It amounted to being there every other day in the evenings from about 6 or 7 pm until midnight or later.  The "revenue" from selling the pictures was okay but probably not worth the time and craziness.  But, it's over for now and we survived!  Natalie was quite the trooper through all of this and definitely got LOTS of attention from people at the arena!
