Natalie at 6 months...

What a fun age this is! Natalie LOVES being able to sit up so well on her own, and her smiles come so easily! We know we are her parents, but we sure think she's one cute baby!!

Laughing at zerberts from Mom...

This adorable hat from the Moskal family just had to be in these pics!

A Day in the Park...

Monument Valley Park is one of our favorites. Now that Natalie is sitting up so well, she can actually explore the grass and leaves...and try to eat them...

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!

We enjoyed getting to explore a Colorado Pumpkin Patch for a recent baby session, and afterwards caught some cute ones of Natalie with the pumpkins! She had a good time trying to eat the leaves, grass, and straw too...pretty much everything goes into our mouth at this stage of the game! Enjoy!

A little "horsing around"

We had a baby session for a family who had this great rocking horse, and since we had some extra time at the end, we put Natalie in the saddle...she did great!

Natalie begins solid foods...

After getting back from the cruise, we started solid foods with Natalie. She has been really interested in our food for the past few weeks, so she was definitely ready! We started with peas, and after some initial shock at a different taste than milk in her mouth, she seemed to like them just fine! This first time was funny just to try to get her to learn to open her mouth for the spoon and all. Since this first trial, we've also done carrots (which she LOVES) and the baby oatmeal. She has made great gains in opening her mouth and getting her tongue out of the way, and she is really a very good eater (i.e., she swallows just about everything!). Fun times...

Mexican Riviera Cruise!

October 4th-11th, we joined a lot of Jon's family....Grandma Bobbie, Papa Ed, Mike, Pam, Josh, Koren, Katie, Jenny, Jeremy, Julie, and Sarah...for a Mexican Riviera Cruise aboard the Sapphire Princess. While not our favorite cruise (ports not as fun as the islands on the Carribbean, rough seas), it was a fantastic week to get away, relax, and spend great time with family!! Natalie could not have been any better of a traveler, and in one trip, she had her first bus, plane, and ship experiences! We'll make sure as she gets older to tell her how lucky she is to have been on a cruise before being 6 months old!!

P.S. This blog entry was a LABOR OF LOVE for all of you! I had to upload each pic individually since they were coming up in html code!

Natalie's First Flight!

Our "spacious" interior room with TONS of mirrors which Natalie LOVED! She got pretty close to mastering sitting up on her own during the cruise!

On the ship!!

First Formal Night with Grandma Bobbie & Papa Ed...

We weren't going to try solids until after the cruise, but by default, we discovered that Natalie LOVED sucking on pineapples!

Pool fun on the ship! Natalie got her feet wet and watched Cousin Katie get in the water!

Puerta Vallarta...a few of us hired a private driver to take us on a tour throughout the city...the highlights were one of the famous churches there, the Arches, and the experience of driving on their crazy streets!!

At the Arches of Puerta Vallarta...

At one of our stops in Puerta Vallarta, Jon found a "wild" coconut, so they cut it open and we tried the coconut milk and the "meat"...the milk was not so good since it was quite warm...but what an experience!

The Tequila Place...

Mazatlan...we did the time share tour, and at the site, saw lots of lizards!

Niece Katie being so good (and cute!) on the ride back to the ship...

Views as we left Mazatlan...

Enjoying the balcony off Mike & Pam's room...

Natalie looks quite the star in Great Grandma Bobbie's sunglasses...

Me & Natalie on formal night...her dress was too cute!

Jon's self portrait...

Jenny & Jeremy

While taking the sunset portraits, we saw at least 50 dolphins jumping and swimming by our ship...very cool!!

Family portrait at sunset...

Some of our amazing desserts on the ship...

Our whole group!

Getting off the ship and getting ready to go through immigration...exciting stuff!

Natalie knows "Safety First!" and studies plane procedures...
