Fall Drive to Gunnison Colorado 2009

Tonight we witnessed a fire in the sky, it was on Monarch Pass at sunset around 11,000 feet. It was glorious! We have SO many great shots from today that we will be sure to post but wanted to get this posted quick.

Labor Day 2009

Labor Day weekend we were invited to two bbq's and then grilled out ourselves for a total of three great meals in one weekend! We also went to see the colorado springs classic balloon glow on Saturday and for the actually day of Labor Day we worked.

Camping in Estes Park

Sorry once again. We are a few months behind on posting stuff. We went camping in Estes Park this July and had a good time!
check out the shot of natalie when she realizes she has a cricket on her green croc. they are so funny. We also had a bear in our camp site the last night we were there but didn't want to take a chance on getting a picture and spooking it and then getting mauled.

this was SO hilarious!






we did a day hike up to the top of Deer Mountain in RMNP


we saw grande views and counted 25 different kinds of wild flowers with our flower guide book.


we had a quick snack at the top and then had to zip down the mountain before the lighting storm came in.

Beef

Heart-a-tack waiting to happen! We enjoyed some bacon cheeseburgers with a side of greasy potato's and a cherry Coke to wash it down. Don't worry we don't eat like this every night!

Nana and Aunt Julie come to visit!

Sorry this is kinda late but better late than never. This was the weekend before Julie moved to Denver for grad school and so we were up in Denver getting Julie to her interview. We played in the park for a couple hours and took pictures- thanks Nancy!
Afterwards we went to Bonnie Braes 50's diner and then topped it off with some ice cream . It was a fun trip and look forward to the next one!

summer time fun with Bobo!

Bobo made a visit to see Natalie and help us out on a big wedding weekend in August. He taught natalie how to nose nuzzle and also fixed up our American Flag with some new hardware and a brand new flag to fly for Labor Day! Thanks Bob!

here are some shots from on location during our work days. we have had tons and tons of rain this summer but have not canceled any sessions because of the it. these are mostly taken in between outfit changes during seniors sessions. Natalie's hair is sure getting long as we are really loving being outside this fall photographing people.
