Jenny & Jeremy come to Colorado!

The end of June, Jenny & Jeremy drove out to see us as part of their big road trip to also see Arizona! We had a great time with them, and they were here for my birthday! In just a couple short days, we managed to see some of the big highlights in Colorado Springs, including Garden of the Gods, the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and going to the top of Pikes Peak! We also had a great time just hanging out and enjoying relaxing times around the fire pit in the backyard.

So yes, if you're curious, even in the middle of summer, the top of Pikes Peak is still chilly...you can pretty much expect it to be 30 degrees cooler than whatever the temp is in the city...

So here are the updates that will be arriving to the blog in the near future. We know it's been awhile and we're behind, but we've literally been going full steam on photography jobs since the start of July and we do need our time just to relax as well!

Also, my sister now lives in DENVER!!! Yea! We're very excited that we'll get to see much more of her being just up the road from us. She's beginning grad school at DU and working both a fellowship for the university and serving as the house "mom" for her Delta Gamma chapter on campus! She'll be coming to see us this weekend to celebrate her birthday and also watch Natalie during our wedding job on Saturday.

Anyway, hang with us and be patient a little longer!
