Storytime Under the Stars...

We enjoyed a great evening treat with Natalie tonight...storytime under the stars! Jon recently put up our lights in the back, and it creates such a neat atmosphere outside on the deck at night. We read two stories before getting her to bed - Baby Bear, Baby Bear What Do You See? and One Duck Stuck.

Natalie's 2nd Birthday!

We had a great time on Natalie's (oh, wait, it was also JON'S birthday...) birthday. During the day, I made her birthday crown with her and then later the cookie-brownie-cake. We all went to Chuck E. Cheese's for dinner & games that night. While quite expensive, it was really fun, and Natalie continues to talk about seeing the "mouse." When we got home, we were on Skype with Uncle Andy in China and he got to be there (via computer) to sing "Happy birthday" and watch her blow out her candles!

How does your garden grow...?

Jon and Natalie have begun our garden indoors! This was wise since we've had a snow and a couple more freezes since they planted all the seeds. We are (hopefully) growing bell peppers, tomatoes, and pumpkin! Things are starting to grow!!
