My Little Pony Princesses Party

Natalie was invited to Adelaide's 1st Birthday Party at the end of October, and there were real ponies there to ride!! A little timid at first, but then I think she had fun. It was the perfect time too to wear our party dress from Nana with our necklace. Natalie loved playing in the backyard (we are really excited for swings and slides anywhere we find them, and we are getting very brave going down on our own and climbing up playground stuff) and with the balloons inside!

Great Grandma B

Grandma B came up to STL while we were in town and got to spend time with all of us! Here's a favorite of her with Natalie...

St. Louis Zoo

Toward the end of October, we traveled to St. Louis to shoot the wedding of one of Jenny's good friends. We added time on either side of the job to see family and some friends and go to some of our favorite places. It was pretty cold and dreary on this day at the zoo, but it was a great day since it wasn't crowded and the animals were all really active. Natalie LOVES animals, but she's a little hesitant when they are REAL and not just pictures in a book! Jason & Lisa met up with us with their boys, Jacob and Jonathan (our first time to meet little Jonathan) and then we went and had our Imo's Pizza for dinner after the zoo! Our time FLEW while we were in town, so if we did not get the chance to see you, know that we miss you and hope to have more time when we are next in town!

Enjoy!

P.S. As with the pumpkin patch, Monkey came to the zoo with us!

Pumpkin Patch!

Early October we went to the Happy Apple Farm about an hour south of Colorado Springs. It was a great day for choosing pumpkins! Natalie absolutely loves her stuffed animals (she sleeps with about 3+ of her "friends" each night) and Monkey accompanied us on this trip! He was quite dirty after this outing, but pretty impressive that she kept up with him the whole time! Natalie is so active, it's pretty hard to get pictures of her lately, but here's some favorites!

We LOVE being outside and finding leaves, sticks, rocks, etc...this is a REALLY cool stick!!

October Frost!

Seasons come and go but this year the fall fell rather quickly with the frost and frozen rain we had yesterday. It's only 20 degrees outside and we are not even half way through October yet. Time to get a hot fire going!
