Yesterday afternoon at 3 or so Natalie went down for a nap and then woke up and wasn't crying just playing in her bed like she sometimes does. It was funny because we were doing stuff around the house and when Lindsay thought she heard Natalie talking in her bedroom she listened outside her room with her ear to the door to make sure she heard her talking so we wouldn't wake her up early. (Ok this next part gets pretty funny!)
So Lindsay heard her making noise and opened the door and Lindsay just about puked and ran outside the room and yelled for me to GET IN HERE! Well let's put it this way....Natalie had peed and pooped her diaper and decided to take OFF her diaper and then play with her POOP, naked, none the less! (AHHHH come on did you have to tell us that?) YES!
So Natalie had poop caked in her hair, mashed in between her fingers like mud and all over her bed rails. It was like a chocolate birthday cake smeared all over her face, we still are not sure if she ate any. 2 baths later and a load of HEAVY DUTY laundry we were back to normal.

that child refuses to sleep with her clothes on huh? I need to introduce you to a friend of mine. Her daughter was a poop artist for quite awhile. She finally grew out of it but it took awhile.
LOL... thats hilarious! I would be like Lindsay though.. dunno if I could clean it up.
I kinda would have liked a picture... ya know.. to get the full effect. ;)
You know oddly enough, that's not the first time I've heard of something like this happening. My younger sister actually did the same thing when she was little like Natalie. Painted all the crib railing. My mom was totally shocked and grossed out!
it's funny how much poop does not bother you at all after changing some nasty diapers.

well, I've a photo of Jonathan with something brown all over his face...but don't think it was anything that gross!! LOL boy! She will never hear the end of that...really grossly funny?!!
