Inspiration to be better than just good.

Inspiration to be better than just good is what this video means to me as a photographer. I am inspired to raise the bar of my photographic art for myself and my business to be the best. Watching this video to me says never give up on what you love and follow your heart to be the best person you can be. just watch and be inspired.

Natalie's 1st Birthday Party!

Family, friends, balloons, streamers, food, drinks, ice cream, and of course the CAKE! We had a great time seeing everyone that came to kick off Natalie's 1st birthday party! We had close to 30 people in our house which some of you know is not that big but we did manage to get by. We had a birthday card booth so people could make bd cards for Natalie's future bd parties. We had some very creative folk to do up some super fancy cards too. Natalie's first taste of cake and she was hooked, saying more or should I say "mo" . So cute she was! Enjoy and more picture to come shortly of all the gifts she received! Let's just say she got HOOKED up.

Natalie's Dedication

Natalie was dedicated on April 19th 2009! The same day we celebrated her birthday with about 30 friends and family that came to see Natalie dig into her cake! We had a great turn out for her dedication as well. Here at the chapel at Woodman Valley Natalie received a blessing from a pastor and an elder of our church and then she was given a silver spoon and her 1st Bible! Here are some shots taken from last Sunday! Enjoy. workbench FINISHED.

This has been in the works since we moved out west, and I finally snapped when my neighbor Jared came over to borrow a tool to fix his truck brakes and I said if you can find it you can borrow it and that is when I decided to unleash the weekend task of tool organization. This I know will make some of you question why I posted my workbench pictures before Natalie's bd pix and the it's for the simple reason is that this post is much less time consuming than the next one will be so hang in there and be patient the CAKE is on it's way! I promise!

EARTH DAY and JULIE B's Birthday!

Hip Hip Hooray for Earth Day and my sister's birthday! Ok so let me just come out and say that my lawn is the ugliest on the block! I HATE my grass or lack there of! I am not good with keeping grass alive apparently because when we bought this house the "LAWN" was pristine and some of the neighbors thought it was a mini golf course it was so green! Those were very short lived days I must say. It has gotten worse and worse every year. I don't know what to do, I fertilize, weed, water, and even aerate! What am I doing wrong? It's SO bad I had to go get grass seed at LOWES yesterday and do you even want to know how much grass seed is nowadays? Let's put it this way, for a mere 7 pounds of Kentucky Blue Grass Seed it was 40 bones!!!! I about dropped a load in my drawers. Then.....I have the never ending task of keeping the dang Robin birds OFF my "lawn"! It's a nightmare I tell ya. I just want green grass like everyone else in America, Is that too much to ask!? Just look how green everyone's lawn is in the picture above and then if you look to the left a little bit....theres that yellow patch. Thats my lawn! Anyway have a happy birthday Julie and to everyone else have a Happy Earth day and God Bless my Lawn!

easter and birthday gifts !

Thanks for my new stuffed bunnies and books grandma, I haven't got a chance to watch my dvd yet but I am looking forward to watching it after my nap today. I love you very much!

Egg Hunt 2009!

Natalie's first egg hunt! Yes...there is always joy in finding the easter bunny's eggs he left behind! Natalie did not need too much direction in what to do. She found all 6 eggs and put them in the basket in less than 7 minutes! You can't beat that for a first time egg hunt for an almost 1 year old! Kudos' to Natalie B'! She was so excited when she found the first one, then the third one came and so she decided to taste the egg and yes she had purple lips after that one. fun times.
